ISPL 2024 Teams
Six teams, namely Majhi Mumbai, KVN Bangalore Strikers, Srinagar Ke Veer, Chennai Singams, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, and Tiigers of Kolkata, engaged in a spirited contest over ten days. The competition not only showcased the essence of tennis ball cricket but also electrified the stadium with unparalleled enthusiasm. It was Tiigers of Kolkata who were crowned as champions in the inaugural season.
ISPL 2024 Total Viewership
The league’s broadcast partner, Sony Pictures Network, reported an exceptional viewership growth, with the overall reach, including TV and digital platforms, hitting an impressive 11 million. Additionally, the live audience in the stadium, nearly 5 lakh strong, added to the electrifying atmosphere, proving the tournament’s ability to draw cricket lovers in large numbers.
ISPL 2025: ISPL Season 2 Dates and Schedule
The Season 2 of the Indian Street Premier League will be played between January 31 to February 9, 2025. It is yet to be decided on the venue for the upcoming season, but any player willing to participate in the trial can register their name as the registration is already open
How were the players selected?
Total registration: Rs 30 lakh players
Golden Ticket: After registering online, players received a Golden Ticket to participate in city trials
Green Ticket: After attending the city trials for selection in their respective cities, the selected players received a Green Ticket which confirmed their participation in the final trials.
Blue Ticket: In the final trials, 350 players were selected to be part of the auction pool. These players received Blue Ticket signifying their participation in the league auction.
